Introduction

We have an open position for a Plant Manager in Stanwood, WA for one of our food manufacturing clients. The Plant Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the plant, ensuring safety and efficiency in all activities. The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing operating costs within the annual budget forecast and oversee the maintence and production of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety protocols, coordinate maintenance activities, and devise efficiency improvement strategies.
• Work with the maintenance manager to create proactive preventive maintenance plans and conduct Root Cause Analysis for significant downtime events.
• Take charge of the plant's day-to-day operations, implementing strategies for long-term success.
• Engage in negotiations, as directed and within established policy, with employees and union organizers regarding day-to-day industrial matters.
• Monitor performance metrics, providing mentorship and making necessary adjustments as required.
• Meet all administrative requirements within the designated timelines.
• Manage the production process, including staff supervision, shift scheduling, inventory monitoring, and quality control.
• Ensure timely achievement of production goals while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
• Foster positive relationships with vendors and customers.
