The Sky Bistro is our flagship restaurant located at the top of Sulphur Mountain and at the pinnacle of our Food and Beverage experiences. Our focus is to build a strong service oriented team that will propel the Sky Bistro experience to great heights.


Responsibilities will include


  • Execute proper wine service as trained by your Sommelier
  • Make employee and guest safety a cultural cornerstone to maintain our reputation as an industry leader and guest safety advocate
  • Answer questions when asked about the surroundings / menu
  • Ensuring stockrooms and storage are neat and organized at all times
  • Certify and confirm that SOP’s are followed and completed
  • Ensuring proper cash and float security during operating hours
  • At least 1+ year bar experience with a minimum of 6 months working in a busy restaurant environment
  • Striving to provide our guests with excellent service and memorable experiences in a professional and sincere manner
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Always properly groomed
  • Thrives in a fast paced, high energy work environment.
  • Able to lift at least 15 pounds
  • Basic knowledge on the distilling process of each main spirit group (i.e. vodka, rum, gin, whiskeys etc.)
  • Pass the food menu test at the end of the training program (85%)
  • Ensuring that guest complaints are resolved to the satisfaction of the guest and that each interaction is treated as an opportunity to “WOW” the guest
  • Flexible with work schedule (morning & evening shifts)
  • Use basic wine knowledge to guide customers accordingly – based on food pairing, sweetness levels
  • Must pass the drink menu test at the end of training program (85%)
  • Able to communicate effectively to all customers
  • Ensuring that all areas are clean and orderly at all times
  • Know all food items on menu
  • Assist the restaurant team with special projects, promotions, functions and special events
  • A positive attitude and be a ‘go getter’
  • Manage your own cash floats on a daily basis
  • Proserve qualifications
  • Courteous service to all guests
  • Customer service oriented
  • Know cocktail & drinks menu extensively and able to guide customers accordingly


This fun summer job runs from June to September or October 2023.

  • Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
