Order Picker - Afternoon

Calling all hard workers and outdoor workers! Looking for an inside position now that the weather will be changing, or looming layoffs?
Our client is offering a permanent indoor job, on the midnight shift? Our south Whitby client is looking for people who know how to work, and can work 11pm-7am, Tuesday through Saturday.

• Hardscape landscape
• Roofer
• Mechanic
• Construction
• Picker/packer at Loblaws, Gordon Foods, Flanagan Foods, Metro, LCBO, etc.
• Mover (work with a moving company)
• Can consistently lift weights ranging from 10-50lb up to shoulder height

Please note: a 45 minute, onsite physical assessment will be completed, as well as a criminal background check prior to being hired

Responsibilities
What you will be doing!

• Placing product onto skids for packing
• Packing skids for shipping
• Lifting up to 50lb consistently (weights will range but you will be lifting upwards of 50lb)
• Order picking, identifying items to prepare for shipment
• Require to have strong attention to detail and listing skills

Qualifications
What you bring to the role...

• This is not a forklift position and forklift experience is not required
• Experience in a hardscape sector (food distribution, warehouse, roofer, mechanic, hardscape, mover, etc)
• Able to bend, stand for periods, lift, climb ladders, stack product
• An onsite physical assessment will be completed as well as a criminal background check prior to being hired
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and listening skills
• Dependable and reliable, ready to work F/T hours
• Must be able to lift 50lb consistently
• Ability to stand for a long period of time
