Job Description

Job Summary:

Insight Global is looking for a Certified Office Administrator that will be responsible for coordinating and managing the administrative duties of a municipal office. This includes overseeing administrative staff, managing office budgets, maintaining office records, and coordinating with other municipal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare packages for Bi weekly city council meetings
  • Ensure compliance with municipal policies and regulations, including privacy and confidentiality standards
  • Prepare and manage bylaw reviews and updates
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, stakeholders, and other municipal partners
  • Help in advertising fundraising and city projects.
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the municipal office, including administrative staff and office equipment
  • Coordinate with other municipal departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date office records, including contracts, legal documents, and meeting minutes
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of municipal agendas and meeting materials

Qualifications:

  • Municipal certification or equivalent training and experience in office administration
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to excellence
  • Knowledge of municipal policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing an office or administrative team
  • Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Haves:

  • Local Government Admin experience
  • Urban Municipal Association of Saskatchewan Certification
