KPMG's Sustainability & ESG Services practice provides a full range of advisory and assurance services to corporate and public clients. Core services include sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance [ESG] strategy and risk assessments, climate change strategy development and decarbonization, ESG implementation support, sustainable finance, and reporting and assurance.
 
 We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our team as a Consultant in our ESG practice starting May or September 2024.   
 
Consultants usually join coming from an undergraduate degree or Master’s degree with less than two years of work experience. Those with advanced degrees, including MBAs, PhDs, MDs, and JD, are encouraged to evaluate if a Senior Consultant or Consultant position is best for them.
To evaluate the range of skillsets our candidates bring we use a two “track” system during the interview process strategist track and technical track. We’ve included a description below to help guide your track selection.
Strategist track
Undergraduate degree in sustainability management, business, public policy, or other relevant programs
Technical track
Undergraduate degree in engineering, environmental science, or other technical programs
What You Bring To The Role

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to combine both quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve sustainability-related business problems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver commitments on time
• Strong academic performance with demonstrated quantitative skills 
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Demonstrated record of leadership roles in academic and/or extracurricular activities; leadership in sustainability-related activities a plus
• Undergraduate degree in sustainability, forestry, business, environmental studies, engineering, or another related program

Candidates must be entering the final year of their current program, with graduation in Winter or Spring of 2024, to be eligible for this position.
