Our Life & Safety Technology Group is currently seeking a .Net Developer for our Montreal office located at 7150 Alexander Fleming, to work a hybrid schedule.

Intrado’s Life & Safety division is responsible for some critical parts of our everyday life. Our solutions are responsible for everything that happens after a 9-1-1 call is placed – call routing, delivery, location determination and data management. Whether you call from a landline, cell phone or text 9-1-1, we make sure first responders get the right information at the right time so they can save lives.

We are looking for a strong .Net Developer who is a self-starter, eager to learn new tools and product and who is flexible and has ability to work within an environment that is fast paced and with a distributed team.

Duties And Responsibilities

Acts as .Net Developer in product development projects to deliver high performance Azure products to market.

Mininum Qualifications

• Create and Update tables and index.
• Experience with React JS a plus.
• Experience using Unit Test Frameworks and Test-Driven Design
• Work with application that is a mix of ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6.
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience working with Microservices a plus.
• Full Stack Developer with experience in Azure a plus. Experience working with ASP.NET Web Forms, Windows Services, and .NET Core.
• Create and Update stored procedures for application as well as complex queries for reports.
• .NET Windows Services, multi-threaded processes

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years MIS or computer science experience.

Additional Experience

• Excellent trouble shooting skills, perform root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Identifies potential project technical risks and develops plans to mitigate them.
• Ability to deliver quality results in a busy, fast paced and dynamic team-oriented environment.
• Passionate about processes and methodology React well and quickly to frequent project demands and requirement changes with flexibility to juggle multiple projects and requests as needed.

Nice To Have

• Experience using Microsoft Azure managed services.
• Collaborating with remote teams
• Test automation experience and setting up a CI and CD environment.

Technical

• Experience with Microsoft development languages and tools. (.NET, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Azure Managed Services)
