We are seeking a highly motivatedMobile Developerfor a permanent full-time position at our Hamilton office. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Mobile Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications across various platforms.

What you’ll do

• Optimize mobile applications for speed, efficiency, and responsiveness
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable mobile applications
• Translate wireframes, mockups, and user stories into functional and intuitive mobile applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices
• Transition existing Swift/Kotlin mobile apps to React Native
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the applications
• Collaborate with the product team to gather requirements and understand project objectives

A little bit about you

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• 3+ years of React Native experience
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Knowledge of Swift and Kotlin
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio or IntelliJ
• Experience with Expo
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript/Typescript code
• University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a Mobile Developer
• Understanding of GraphQL APIs
