Millwright Apprentice (Level 2 And/Or Above)

One of our automotive manufacturing clients in Simcoe, ON is looking for a Millwright Apprentice.

Shift - 8 hour rotation (Day, afternoon and night)

Job Duties

• Assist with all duties within the department.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair and fabricate machine parts, jigs, and fixtures.
• Install, repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Willing to work at elevated heights and obtain aerial lift certification.
• Strong team player and ability to work with minimal supervision.4Proof of successful completion of at least two levels of schooling required for an Industrial Millwright Apprenticeship.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of stamping and robotic equipment and PLC's.
• Operation of forklift and overhead crane.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
