Mill Operator / Machine Operator

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter to join as a Mill Operator in Orangeville, ON.

This position is responsible for set up and operation of milling machines and processes in a plastic manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions

• Mill Operator is responsible for measuring all dimensions of the parts being produced and completing first article and process inspections.
• Milling process consists of a conveyor belt and digital controller to set the machine's required thickness.
• Mill Operator is responsible for set up, operation and troubleshooting of milling machines and processes.

Required Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Forklift experience and certification would be an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Shifts

• 12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround.
• Permanent, Full-Time Position.
