MEDICAL DIGITAL SPECIALIST

Reports to Education Director

To be an integral part of the SkinCeuticals Canada Education team coordinating the database management and communication strategies of the Online Professional Academy (LMS) and developing materials & content for digital education. Position serves as support primarily for adaptation of digital creative materials including, but not limited to, the e-learning platform in topics from product education, business strategy, leadership and hands-on professional training. Candidate also manages the brand’s presence on the divisional site and collaborates across multiple departments for divisional KPI’s Candidate also coordinates the set-up and organization of digital education events.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Collaborate with Education and Marketing teams on the development and updating of online education materials for launch, animation and specialty projects
• Customizing education content from global partners for the Canadian market; updating all elearning education materials (modules, video, publication, podcasts, etc)
• Work closely with education team members to provide e-Learning communications to drive user engagement on platform.
• Coordinate digital education event logistics: contracts with vendors, timely supplier payment, gifting, event communications, and post-event follow-ups / troubleshooting.
• Support, update, and evolve all aspects of the eLearning site and the professional divisional site
• Create learning plans that are engaging and retention-based
• Maintain close relationship with agencies for Online Professional Academy platform maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Maintaining a clean and up-to-date Online Professional Academy database for analytical reporting and update report monthly
• Be able to train stakeholders on how to use the Online Professional Academy
• Tracking and organizing departmental budgets and expenses of digital projects; open POs and GR as needed
• Think outside of the box and creatively to continuously improve platforms with enhancements and functionalities

Specific Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Have an understanding of adult learning theories
• Passion for and understanding of social media platforms
• LMS proficiency with experience in managing CMS platforms
• Strong analytical skills with special focus on making information easily digestible and accessible to all audiences
• Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft and the ability to learn new platforms
• Professional attitude, and ability to function as part of a team
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Experience in the beauty industry or medical industry preferred, but not required
• Content development background
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French (mandarin an asset)
