The Role


We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Foreman. We have a number of projects coming up in various locations.


Shift: 6/1


Responsibilities And Duties


  • Daily interactions with client on progress and project requirements
  • Supervising crew tasks
  • Set up work completion schedules
  • Communication with team through daily safety meetings
  • Assist with project estimating, including labour, supplies and materials
  • Execute work in line with federal, provincial and client and company quality standards, codes and safety regulations
  • Assist Construction Manager on daily reports, schedules and manpower
  • Communicating the job to and with tradesmen/ workers

Requirements


  • Flexible during times of change
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work in a high altitude area
  • Previous plant experience is considered an asset
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • 5 years of management and supervisory experience
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Previous experience in civil/earthworks projects
  • Qualified trades personnel with experience in heavy mechanical scopes
  • Knowledgeable in the MS suite of applications (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)
