• Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Advise internal users on the appropriateness of requested parts, supplies, or materials.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
• Store all items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Requisition new or additional stock or prepare documents that provide for such purchases.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or shipping/receiving facilities.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• Track shipments globally and report discrepancies to the global logistics team and internal Skyworks employees.
• Prepare shipment reports as needed by downloading shipment data from the carriers' tracking systems.
• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers based on information from incoming requisitions.
• Cleans and maintains storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to the Manager.
• Utilize pallet jacks, and dollies to pick up incoming stock or deliver parts to designated locations. Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Lifts heavy items
• Compile and review historical data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs.
• Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors.
• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Determine sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability.
• Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
• Confer with engineering and purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock requisitioning and availability.
• Ensure timely delivery of Skyworks shipments worldwide based on delivery targets.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP and MRP
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experienced in Microsoft programs – excel, word, power point, outlook
• High school diploma
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
