Materials Supervisor Jobs

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Newmarket who needs to hire a Materials Supervisor. To be considered, you will need work experience working for a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company. This client will consider a Material Planner, Scheduler or Inventory Analyst who has automotive experience and who wants to take the next step in their career. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as an Inventory Analyst, Material Planner, Scheduler or similar role while being employed with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company
• Experience working in a IATF16949 facility
• Experienced at using MRP/ERP applications such as JDEdwards, Trans4M, CMS, Epicor, SAP, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with engineering, tooling, and maintenance departments to ensure that trials and prototype runs are given time on the equipment
• Ensures on time shipping and minimizes expedites
• Communicates the production schedule to production team
• Track customer requirements and ensure timely delivery
• Verify documents for accuracy
