Role Summary
Move material to assigned labeled work in process location following First In First out principle
Move finished goods product to assigned inventory location following First In First out principle
Move raw material to the designated inventory location blanks and or purchased components
Ensure all material product packaging etc is issued to each process center on a Just In Time basis to improve housekeeping and effectiveness of production without production interruption
Must ensure that all material has a bar code label and the bar code label has been scanned and signed prior of moving the material out of the process center
Store empty bins and dunnage according to the assigned inventory location inside or outside
Review production schedule and ensure that material from the overflow area is rotated accordingly
Maintain all areas organized and clean of internal and external bins baskets and packaging to the highest level of housekeeping
Help arrange packaging at part washer to ensure effective production
Ensure all necessary packaging is at segregated area before production starts
Complete the forklift driver checklist at the beginning of the shift according to the requirements and ensure that it has been sign
Key Responsibilities
Deliver parts to production cells
Ensure daily inspection of material handling equipment is performed according to prescribed standards procedures
Label products as required
Maintain firstinfirstout FIFO standards and policies for all production material
Repack parts as required according to customer packaging specifications
Perform dock audits as required
Ensure binspackaging is damage free
Ensure safety accuracy when loading unloading
Perform cycle counts reconcile inventory counts as requested
Key Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum secondary school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Workrelated Experience
Valid forklift operators certificate
Able to perform heavy lifting 30 pounds at a time
Computer literate
Good documentation organizational skills
Strong English language communication skills both verbal written
Working knowledge of TS16949 ISO14001 systems
