Our client, a leading company in the Manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Material Handler - Forklift Operator to join their team in Fort Erie, ON. As a Full Time, role, the Material Handler will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, and moving products and materials using forklift equipment. The ideal candidate must possess a valid forklift certification, COUNTER BALANCE experience, and have a strong background in warehouse operations and shipping/receiving. • Demonstrate strong communication skills and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
• Complete tasks within the department based on individual skills and qualifications.
• Utilize resourcefulness to overcome challenges and achieve operational goals.
• Safely operate forklift equipment to load, unload, and move products and materials.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and practices as outlined by the company and legislation.
• Deliver products throughout the plant and perform receiving inspections.
• Organize and store received materials in their designated locations.
• Maintain excellent attention to detail and follow established processes for accuracy.
• Utilize ERP systems and MS Office applications for record-keeping and data management.

Candidate's Profile:

• Previous warehouse experience with a minimum of one to three years in shipping and receiving.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Willing to undergo a criminal background check if required.
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating COUNTER BALANCE forklifts.
• Safety-conscious with a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Exhibit physical strength and good health to handle warehouse duties effectively.
• Possess safety boots and be in good physical condition to stand for the shift duration.
