We are hiring a Marketing Strategy Planner to join us as our corporate teams grow & develop! This role is looking to be filled by a proactive self-starter with knowledge and experience in marketing-management within a consumer-facing environment!

Purpose: To develop marketing plans that support achievement of corporate and buying KPI metrics.

Role Specific Accountabilities

• Plan and oversee the development of seasonal Marketing strategies and Go to Market Plans to meet/exceed business objectives
• Optimize print flyer distribution to drive customers in store & online each week
• Support GR Private Label update for rollout including development of marketing channel support recommendations, plus ad-hoc support for other marketing projects as needed
• Analyze in season performance and work cross functionally to update marketing plans to respond to business need
• Leverage transactional, market and consumer data to complete the Seasonal Post Mortem which is used to build Strategy & Go to Market Plan for next fiscal year
• Maintain marketing budget working with team members throughout the year

Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven omni-channel marketing experience with strong data-driven decision-making that gets results
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills to drive multiple projects simultaneously within timelines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with approachable style and consistent track record to establish relationships and work effectively in a highly cross-functional team
• 5 to 7 years of related experience in marketing planning and management in a consumer-facing, fast-paced working environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with honed presentation confidence to express expertise and point of view in multiple forums and leadership levels
• Experience working for a national retailer is preferred
• Proven track record to lead. A self-starter with a can-do attitude
• Proactive problem-solving skills to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternative solutions/ideas

Assets

• Experience managing a print and digital flyer program
