Job Summary


The Marketing Co-op is a paid position for rising undergraduate students that are interested in working in marketing and consumer package goods. You will engage in high-impact work while building meaningful relationships with members of the Mondelez team through a variety of activities and projects.


Our Brand Marketing team tells compelling stories and takes on complex business issues that focus on marketing and strategy. Together, we define how people interact with our products and engage with our brands, to ultimately grow our market share in Canada.


Key responsibilities:


  • Cross-functional Leadership - Cultivate strong working relationships with both internal (sales, R&D, operations etc.) and external (agency, packaging designs/suppliers, etc.) partners
  • Budget Ownership - Identify and manage the brand budget spend to effectively execute plans.
  • Communications, Media and In-store Promotions - In conjunction with the Brand Manager lead and collaborate to develop and execute key marketing activations such as communication assets, media support, organic social strategy, in-store promotions, partnerships etc.
  • Analysis and Insights into Action - Proactively monitor brand performance along with key competitors across the market. Take key insights to provide recommendations on maximizing growth opportunities.
  • Report on campaign results, highlighting successes, failures, trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Project Management – leading a number of projects of varying complexity through the commercialization process from launch to execution


Qualifications:


  • Available to complete a minimum 16-week term beginning in September
  • Ability to nurture and contribute to innovation with creative problem solving / innovative solutions approach
  • Dynamic, high energy, curious and resilient individual who can thrive in a constantly evolving environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a cross-functional team and many stake holders
  • Analytical skills and experience building business cases.
  • Currently enrolled in a BA program, or a recent graduate, preferably in Business, Marketing or Communications.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize what matters.
  • A team player, that will speak up and challenge the status quo.


Duration: 4 months (September to December)


Location: Hybrid Work Approach (Head Office at Gladstone & Remote Working)
