Key Responsibilities


Recruitment:


  • Supported and engaged
  • Manage selection process for up to 65 grads and 55 interns annually, leading interviews and managing candidate relations
  • Define and execute on grad and intern recruitment strategy (GLP, BI and Interns)
  • Manage program recruitment logistics and activities to ensure that each candidate is well
  • Manage recruitment events, including campus information sessions, mock interviews and sponsorship events for new grad and intern programs in order to hire top talent
  • Assist in the development of recruitment and selection materials, including campus pamphlets, case study materials and interview guides


Program Management


  • Proactively generate new opportunities and drive new program initiatives to contribute in building a continuous line-up of high quality leaders
  • Conduct reporting and analytics as required
  • Assist in the development and execution of program strategy to ensure growth in program reputation, structure and quality
  • Assess capability and development needs to design rotational roles for grads by working with business primes and leaders across the business
  • Coordinate grad and intern onboarding: including orientation, call centre rotations, retail rotations and consulting projects by working with cross-functional teams


People Leadership


  • Administer, review and debrief grads on Thomas assessments as an accredited Thomas Analyst
  • Coach and monitor grad performance to ensure performance effectiveness
  • Provide mentorship to all grad and intern program participants, from general program inquiries, skill development and progression opportunities
  • Collect feedback from grads, business leaders and mentors to assess grad performance
  • Immediate leader to grads and interns, providing support and guidance


Talent Management


  • Evaluate industry changes for best practices and performance management to bring in innovative approaches for assessing potential
  • Source and connect rotational/permanent roles within the business units for grads by partnering with business leaders, recruitment and HR teams


Stakeholder Management


  • Contact prime for GLP inquiries from the business
  • Create and present program and recruitment updates to key stakeholders at regular intervals
  • Define and promote the GLP across a network of growing internal partnerships to establish support across the business, including Bell Residential Small Business, Mobility, Media, The Source, Virgin and Customer Operations teams
  • Build and foster strong, lasting networks across the business, with program candidates and Career Centers

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Bilingual
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility for working hours and travel
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
