Job Description

OPERATIONS

Establish and maintain efficient fixed base operations (FBO) activities in accordance with standards and obligations towards business partners, aviation authority, respective airport administration, municipal governments and Company safety & quality standards & policies.

  • Ensure Safety Management System requirements are met
  • Identify, manage and mitigate FBO operational risks
  • In charge of enforcement of all security obligations according to Aviation Authority, Airport authorities and company standards & policies
  • Manage the overall private terminal (FBO), its equipment, all fuel inventory and security for the safe and efficient delivery of Company FBO services
  • Comply with all policies & directives of airport authorities and other related organisations
  • Optimise hangar space utilisation efficiency
  • Manage safety, service efficiency of all FBO activities through Key Performances Indicators
  • Responsible for Company FBO site, operations & security

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

Provide direction and oversee effectiveness of Company’s fixed base operations (FBO) business unit.Initiate, lead and perform FBO business planning, and coordinate projects to optimize business growth and profitability.

  • Search, gather & compile data on FBO market segments, competition, trends & forecasts, SWOT
  • Develop, create & price existing and new services & products
  • Establish product positioning, objectives, key issues, strategies, actions & resource plans and lead development & implementation of solutions where required
  • Prepare and present project proposals and technical & financial analyses
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of FBO standard operating procedures
  • Evaluate, define and implement goals & objectives, policies, procedures & standards as required to maximize FBO operational and commercial efficiency & profitability
  • Design and coordinate promotional marketing efforts (documents, events, online content, advertisement, etc.) as required
  • Prepare and manage FBO business unit budget & forecast, and optimize financial results and recommend solutions
  • Optimize sales practices (lead-creation, client databases, reports, analyses, presentations, proposals, online tools, CRM, etc.)
  • Develop & produce monthly management reports and analyses
  • Manage safety, operational and commercial service efficiency for all FBO products through KPIs
  • Identify, manage and mitigate FBO business-related risks
  • Seek & analyze new business opportunities
  • Responsible for quality assurance and oversee quality control procedure for all FBO activities

COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT

Assume the sales leadership of the FBO business units in dealing with potential and existing customers, and act as surrogate customer within the company in order to maximize gross profitability and long-term customer loyalty.

  • Conduct direct sales solicitation for new business opportunities – assess the needs of the client and prepare quotations that meet required pricing, contractual and operational standards & policies
  • Own and control customer relationships upon agreement execution
  • Review ongoing service delivery, evaluate performance and compliance with agreement, and maintain customer loyalty through better adjusting rendered services to customer's requirements
  • Conduct sales-related activities with existing customers
  • Manage & perform contractual document renewals with existing customers as required
  • Participate in the development of sales & marketing campaigns and attend strategic shows & events as needed
  • Track & optimize customer outstanding accounts and any in-service special proposals & contracts
  • Maintain detailed database of all contacts and customer service information

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE SUPERVISION

Maintain and ensure the Jetport property are in good standing through a proactive approach, and ensure building maintenance, ground support equipment (GSE), fuel trucks, vehicles and lawn equipment are in good working order, and lead related repair or improvement projects as needed.

  • Responsible for fuel truck and fuel farm maintenance, filter changes and all government regulated inspections
  • Develop a 1, 3 and 5-year facilities maintenance plans
  • Be able to resolve emergencies and service issues, including off-duty hours coverage (24/7)
  • Manage and oversee contracts such as HVAC maintenance, snow removal and lawn and gardening grooming
  • Identify, manage and mitigate facility-related safety and operational risks.
  • Work with service providers to optimize projects and general facility's operating costs
  • Perform general mechanical, plumbing, electrical repairs and improvements as required.
  • Develop, coordinate, and enforce property maintenance systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
  • Oversee jobs performed by contractors, and monitor implemented Jetport Safety and government protocols.Prepare and execute project bid spec sheets and complete the bid process paperwork.
  • Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
  • Maintains a high service quality by endorsing customer-driven service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and service problems, and recommending improvements.
  • Prepare and execute a PM schedule for all building equipment, GSE lawn equipment and vehicles and maintain records


OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

Provide direction and oversee overall effectiveness of office administration activities.

  • Manage reservation of office shared resources (storage, company car, physical & virtual conference rooms)
  • In charge of office transportation logistics, assist employees with business travel and establish related policies and standards
  • In charge of office operations training activities, procedures and standards
  • Responsible of all office document and stationary management
  • Manage office administration operations and special projects and provide efficient and timely office-related assistance to all company employees
  • Identify, manage and mitigate office-related safety and operational risks
  • Organize and control every facility access permits and related security procedures
  • Handle all office and mobile phone policies, related hardware, subscriptions and related training
  • Ensure the department serves the business needs of all business units
  • Manage all office mailing needs
