Mall Manager Jobs

Universal Realty Group is a Halifax-based property management company known for setting the standards of excellence in residential accommodation, development and commercial leasing. We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Mall Manager for our commercial portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· To provide support to the retail tenants, initiating meetings and identifying issues that could impact the operation of the Mall

· Overseeing staff to ensure properties are well maintained and ensuring all maintenance issues are addressed in a timely and cost effective manner

· Working with staff to ensure vacant spaces are leased, according to leasing procedures

· Assisting in the development of budgets and completing financial reporting

· Providing support to and supervising staff associated with the portfolio including conducting annual performance reviews

· Vendor contract negotiation and scheduling

· Act as the Duty Manager for the Mall as and when required

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 2 to 5 years experience as a Mall Manager or Supervisor

· Professionalism and accountability, high energy, personable, great people skills and customer service focused

· Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, local area knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Effective, proven leadership skills with previous supervisory experience

· Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently

· Computer skills including experience with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
