The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation is a not-for-profit corporation responsible for the safe and efficient movement of marine traffic through the Canadian Seaway. The Corporation plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the waterway remains a safe and well-managed system to enable ships to transit between Montreal and Lake Erie, through bridges and 13 locks.
Role
The Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative support to the organization unit in meeting operational requirements.
Responsibilities
Hours of work: 37.5 per week
Salary range: $ 33.31 /hour (min) to $ 36.02 /hour (max)

Role
The Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative support to the organization unit in meeting operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Gathering and recording data, preparing reports, tracking and reporting on transactions and enabling the flow of information
- Schedule maintenance execution work
- Expedite services, parts & materials
- Plan routine maintenance work orders
- Perform work identification gate keeper role
- Provide information to other departments and externally about maintenance activities and respond to internal and external inquiries as required
- Support workforce scheduling and time accounting
- Maintains all 'registry' for maintenance, ex: training records, PPE, statistics, etc.
- Administrative support to service contracts

- Knowledge of applicable procedures, rules, standards and work practices with respect to performing duties
- Minimum of 3 years related administrative experience
- High School Diploma
- Post-secondary technical studies in Resource scheduling and record keeping or equivalent
- Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record
