Job Description
TPD has a fantastic opportunity for Maintenance Electricians to join our clients team. This position will be based out of Timmins, Ontario with an equal time-off work rotation. This position will be responsible for the Preventative Maintenance and repair of Electrics and Instrumentation in a Mill setting.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Diagnose and reprogram PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and electronic circuits
  • Performing Preventative Maintenance on a variety of equipment
  • Run wire, cable, and conduit, connections, junction boxes, and control panel installations
  • Perform diagnosis and repair of equipment and fixed plant infrastructure
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment cut sheets
  • Adjusts, calibrates, aligns and modifies circuitry, components and equipment
What You Bring To The Table
  • Previous experience working in a Mill is considered an asset*
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in an Industrial setting
  • Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
  • Ontario Common Core is considered an asset*
  • Journeyperson License from Ontario (309A or 442A) or Interprovincial Red Seal
