Machinist - Level 2 Jobs

Integrate innovative machine shop solutions across Honeywell. You will lead and engage in multi-disciplined machine shop focused projects that support the organization's business strategies. You will have a direct impact on business unit, function and overall site success.
Key Responsibilities

• Report to the CNC Machine Shop Leader and work under minimal supervision.
• Operation of manual machining equipment including lathes and mills
• Responsible for the final quality of machined components delivered from the cell.
• Read and interpret drawings, set-up sheets and revision changes.
• Complete Set-up / operation of multiple 4 axis CNC Lathes and Mills in a custom high mix low volume environment.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5 + years' experience as CNC Machinist G-code editing, Set-up and running mill Turn / VMC / HMC / manual equipment

• Proven ability to work unsupervised and be able to make good high-production and customer focused decisions daily

• Clear understanding of Lean Principles (5S / Visual Management / tiered accountability)
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Safety first attitude, actively engaged in site safety champion area (HSE team member)
• Experience machining Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloy and or Titanium to close tolerances
• We value Journeyperson Trade School Diploma
