We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing company. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our edge-bending machine and saw to produce high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in machine operation, along with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Continuously monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of machine operations and suggest improvements.
  • Load raw materials onto the machine and monitor the production process to ensure proper bending and cutting.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Set up and operate the edge bending machine and saw according to work orders and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues that may arise during operation.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, materials used, and any production issues encountered.
  • Adjust machine settings and controls as necessary to achieve desired results.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with different types of materials commonly used in edge bending and sawing operations (e.g., metal, wood, plastic) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating edge bending machines and saws in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with operating edge bending machines and saws, including setting up and adjusting machine parameters.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs
  • Ability to perform quality checks and make adjustments to ensure products meet specifications.
Education:
  • Technical certification or vocational training in machine operation is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
