What You'll Be Doing

  • Troubleshoot and resolve campaign and automation issues.
  • Develop reporting on monthly email performance.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Fresh Prep customer databases and reporting tools. Identify data and insights based opportunities for conversion optimization and action.
  • Incorporate automated and custom lists into campaign and operational sends.
  • Gain a deep understanding of how the email and loyalty platforms integrate with the Fresh Prep database. Collaborate with the Digital team to ensure timely platform enhancements.
  • Create work-back schedules and manage timelines with cross-functional teams for copy, creative and digital assets to send the right customers the right email at the right time.
  • Establish baseline performance reporting and trends. Optimize campaigns through A/B testing to improve open rates, click throughs and conversion to meet business goals
  • Become the subject matter expert on the loyalty technology platform.
  • Manage lifecycle email/SMS marketing improvement initiatives.
  • Email/SMS database management and analytics. Seek ways to increase subscription. Minimizes list decay and unsubscribes.
  • Daily duties include but are not limited to email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
  • Optimize prospect nurturing and customer onboarding to build paying customers and lifetime value.
  • Support loyalty campaigns from concept to execution to post-mortem, proactively engaging key stakeholders to facilitate optimal collaboration and communication.
  • Work closely with our Digital team to deploy new campaigns, enhance workflows and improve the customer experience.
  • Build a repository of competitor email automations and activities. Stay abreast of key industry changes.
  • Understand regional variances of email subscribers and adopt market insights to better target emails.
  • Manage loyalty program initiatives throughout the program life cycle.
  • Develop/coordinate standard reporting/analytics and create presentations as needed.
  • Seek ways to leverage system capabilities such as custom landing pages and forms to drive new paying customers.
  • Become the system expert on the marketing engagement platform and other associated third party vendor tools.
  • Manage email projects from copy and design briefing through execution.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current loyalty, email, SMS, CRM and push marketing best practices.


What We Are Looking For

  • Previous Customer Service, Customer Success, or Account Management experience a plus
  • Proficiency with email lists and segmentation, engagement platforms, loyalty platforms and data analytics platforms (e.g. Convert, Looker). Bonus points for experience with Active Campaign.
  • Results and data-driven mindset with a strong analytical capability and solid experience leveraging customer data to drive conversion. Able to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of efforts.
  • 4+ years’ experience managing loyalty programs and/or email and marketing automations, preferably in a direct-to-consumer e-commerce environment. Experience with lifecycle marketing and retention campaigns. Strong passion for understanding customers.
  • Highly detail oriented with solid project management skills. Bonus points for experience with Asana.
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Marketing / Business
  • Comfortable building A/B testing and email optimization strategies
  • Articulate with strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills to work well cross functionally.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Slides/Docs or Microsoft Powerpoint/Excel/Word; experience with HTML/CSS is a strong plus.
