Loss Prevention Investigator Jobs

We are currently seeking a skilled Loss Prevention Guard to work closely with our retail clients, who will also have a lot of interaction with the police. This role is ideal for someone who is starting their law enforcement career or an experienced professional looking for a challenging new opportunity. Paid training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures
• Minimize the financial loss of retail items related to theft
• Write apprehension and prevention reports
• Conducting surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Ability to work independently and possess initiative and integrity
• Ability to communicate with first responders, staff and management
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
• Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest
• Ability to stand and walk for a full shift
• English (written and verbal)
