As part of our commitment to making the world more productive and sustainable, we are seeking a dynamic technical sustainability professional to contribute to the development and execution of our corporate sustainability programs. You will execute Lifecycle Assessment projects on various Rockwell Automation products.


Summary Of Responsibilities


  • Contribute to the development and documentation of the product Design for Sustainability strategy including vision of success, key attributes and measurements, prioritization, education, and implementation.
  • Perform LCA for various products data preparation and assessment, use of Gabi or similar platforms.
  • Source and structure data that may not be readily available.
  • Demonstrate capability to work on multiple projects/products at any one time. Work with cross-business and cross-regional teams to leverage expertise where it is available to get the job done.
  • Define the models for various products to facilitate Lifecycle assessments.
  • Collaborate and coordinate closely with the product business groups, integrated supply chain, as well as the sales and marketing organizations. Work effectively with regions to develop programs that meet global needs.
  • Execute the assigned projects and deliver on time/on budget milestones. Result of LCA would integrate into product development deliverables and enhance product designs from sustainability point of view.


Basic Qualifications


  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Bachelor’s degree


Preferred Qualifications


  • Expertise in LCA tools, software and libraries (GaBi, SimaPro for example)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in an engineering field, from an accredited institution.
  • Knowledgeable in Sustainable Engineering methodologies and product life cycle assessment
  • Good time and project management skills, fosters collaboration among team members and among teams; uses teams to address relevant issues.
  • LCA certificate or similar credentials.
  • Values and supports diversity in the workplace.
  • Capacity to function in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge oif Rockwell products (Drive, Controllers, etc)
  • Have good problem-solving skills and be able to gather and analyze information and as necessary, help develop appropriate options and actions.
  • A high level of enthusiasm, creativity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and effectiveness as a team player.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sustainability, or product environmental programs, in electronics industry working with electromechanical products.
