We are building something completely new at RBC, and have been given tremendous support to find and try new ways of doing things. This role will join a substantial core of Scrum Masters and RTEs who are trying new things, and have the latitude to see what works best. We own our workflows, our ceremonies and our approach. WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?


US Cash Management is seeking a Lead Scrum Master within our Banking Technology team. This is a green field project to build a brand-new system to serve our corporate clients. The incumbent will work collaboratively with project teams to deliver a whole new bank to our clients. You will be heavily involved in shaping the future technology landscape of RBCCM, by delivering key business values for a transformational project in our Banking Technology while implementing strategic components servicing across all CM functions defined in our roadmap.


The Lead Scrum Master is responsible for leading a, teams towards targeted and scheduled outcomes that deliver on the program objectives. Integrates efforts, continuously assesses and refines approaches and plans, and has accountability of ensuring effective and timely communications to the appropriate parties. You are not afraid of challenging the team on details and be able to think strategically.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?


  • Choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
  • Organizing multiple workstreams to deliver against their roadmaps, and syncing with the overall program roadmap. Managing stakeholders and messaging to Leadership. High level of general management skills including, but not limited to, leading, negotiating, communicating and team building
  • Advanced knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, analysis, creation, and metrics. Superior business acumen. Advanced verbal and written communications skills required to manage .communications to all stakeholders
  • Advanced ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and
  • Knowledge of Project Management and project delivery methodology


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?


Must have:


  • 5-7 years’ experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master with broad based


projects. Experience working with Scrum methodology


  • Proven experience successfully managing and implementing large scale,


high visibility projects with management of large cross-functional project


teams


  • Proven experience leading large scale, high visibility projects. Experience in
  • Previous RBC or Financial Services experience would be an asset


managing projects for Finance at a FI (Preferred).Cash Management delivery
