We are looking for a KDB developer to join our team. As a KDB developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining KDB databases and applications for our clients. You will be working with a team of developers, traders, and analysts to develop innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain APIs to interface with other systems.
• Work with traders, analysts, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize queries to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
• Design, develop and maintain KDB databases and applications.
• Develop and maintain real-time streaming data applications.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in KDB development.
• Experience with kdb+/tick.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Unix/Linux.
• Strong experience with Q programming language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of FIX protocol.
• Experience with Python, Java, or other programming languages.
• Experience with database design and optimization.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Experience with the financial services industry.
