Job Type: Fixed-Term (12 months), Full-Time (40 hours)

Role Overview:

Putting the customer at the heart of everything that you do, you will commercially manage your store to maximise the marketing of the Brand; telling our story, capturing emails and creating customer loyalty. Creating a fun and inspiring atmosphere in line with our brand and culture, you must create a pinnacle Brand experience for our Customers in the Distillery District to have them buy more, come back and tell others. While sales are important, capturing Customers data is your key performance measure, so being a promoter is key!


Role Responsibilities


  • In collaboration with the Store Manager, take on responsibilities that ensure the continued success of your store in sales, standards and Crew development.
  • Stays current and follows through to ensure important company information reaches all levels of the team; facilitates the sharing of product knowledge, best sellers, department priorities, and brand messaging throughout the day with the Team
  • Facilitates a thorough and thoughtful onboarding process for new hires and fosters an environment of continual development; provides timely and specific employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability
  • To ensure that the costs are managed efficiently, through long term planned scheduling, absence management and individual productivity
  • Collaborate with key partners in Head Office to influence and maximise the stock package and other resources (where appropriate)
  • Leading, inspiring and demonstrating exceptional standards of behaviour to your Team while ensuring the integrity of the brand is always maintained
  • To oversee and execute the FatFace visual proposition to company standards including leading sale/new season launches and floor moves
  • To abide by and ensure correct policies & procedures are adhered to in a professional manner for your Team and store including cash and stock, health and safety, office, security of premises and loss prevention
  • Promotes and represents the Brand: engagement is key - building our database is your only performance measure...use your charm and gift of banter to bring our Brand story to life and create customer loyalty.
  • Maximise store sales through sell thru analysis and influencing ranging decisions with the Merchandise team
  • Drives a service culture through experiences that are engaging, efficient and personalized; interprets customer feedback and team insights to positively improve their experience


Skills and Experience


  • Strong planning and organisational background
  • IT literate
  • 3+ years of previous management experience within a fashion retail store
  • Ambition and determination to succeed, taking the initiative and working under own direction
  • Management level experience of operational, stock, IT and cash management
  • Marketing/Promotion experience or education not required but helpful
  • Ability to work productively in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrable experience of working with KPIs with the effective analysis and interpretation of commercial reports to support decision making
  • Experience of leading, coaching and managing teams through strong interpersonal and communication skills
