Jr. Salesforce Web Developer

The Company

Our client is multinational organization in the hospitality industry. They are looking for a Jr. Salesforce Web Developer to support on a 6 month initial contract. The Jr. Salesforce Web Developer will primarily be working from home, with the occasional in office day.

The Position

The Jr. Salesforce Web Developer is a strong communicator and problem solver with proven experience working on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud crm.

Responsibilities

• Create data queries using SQL to support web and email deployment
• Develop, update, and deploy emails and web applications for the marketing department
• Collaborate with leadership and other team members to come up with appropriate solutions
• Identify business needs and adapt answers that align with the company goals
• Use creative solutions to drive and code resolutions to problems
• Code using HTML and CSS, as well as AmpScript
• Work through elaborate business processes and design straightforward solutions using best of breed tools
• Work with key partners to deliver punctual, tested and reusable code in a rapidly changing environment

Requirements

• Ability to develop end-to-end solutions that generate positive user experiences
• Experience querying data using SQL
• 2+ years of Web Development experience is required
• Experience with both front-end and back-end technologies in a B2B or B2C web production environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is an asset
• A strong understanding of compatibility and cross-browser issues
• Experience with JavaScript and AmpScript
• Prior experience with email marketing or digital marketing
• Strong proficiency with HTML and CSS
• Experience crafting high quality solutions
