Journeyman Steamfitter/Pipefitter (Alberta) Future Opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging.
• Select type and size of pipe.
• Assist in installation of equipment, pipe, and structural steel.
• Read interpret drawings.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe.

Requirements:

• H2S Alive Certificate
• Previous experience working as a pipefitter, steamfitter, apprentice, or, welder, is required.
• Physically capable of performing all tasks required of field Steamfitters/Pipefitters.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to do careful and exacting work.
• Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection Certificate
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate
• Valid Journeyperson Alberta Steamfitter/Pipefitter Certificate (Red Seal if out of province certificate).
• Energy Safety Canada Elevated Work Platforms Certificate
• Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
• Common Safety Orientation, or CSTS-09 or CSTS-20 Certificate
• Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• Invested in a safety-oriented work environment.
