Pipefitter Jobs

We are seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitters for an upcoming shutdown in Whitecourt, AB.
The shutdown is expected to start on September 5th and run until October 1, 2023.
Camp is available, and bussing is provided between the camp and the job site.
What would you be doing?

• Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
• Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
• Maintain and repair piping systems.

Does this sound like you?

• Valid WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, Confined Space, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, and AWP tickets.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
• Must have your own reliable transportation to get to camp.
• Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
