Job Description

One of our clients is looking for a JAVA Scala Developer for one of their engagements.


Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java and Scala development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Support and mentor junior developers as required.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Design and develop applications using Java and Scala programming languages.
  • Integrate applications with other systems and third-party services as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with functional programming concepts and principles.
  • Proven experience as a Java Scala Developer, with at least [8] years of experience.
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in both Java and Scala programming languages.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
