Job Description

What you have:


  • Proficient Spanish, both written and spoken, is considered an asset (but not essential)
  • Skilled in the use of Project Management Tools (Waterfall/Agile)
  • Cost Management, Change Management, Risk Management experience
  • Previous experience in Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestments desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at both technical and executive level
  • 10+ years leading IT projects in a large complex corporate environment and in a Project Manager role handling project teams
  • PMP and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner is preferred
  • Proven management and team leadership abilities
  • Skilled in iterative Agile delivery
  • Experienced working with major Consultancy firms and Vendors
  • Familiarity with Mining, other Natural Resources or Industrial business desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Practical experience managing projects greater than $1M


Specific Job Requirements:

  • Database Services
  • We are currently in the process of supporting the Separation into two new companies for Base Metals and Metallurgical Coal. This will involve separation of IT Infrastructure, Applications, Security, etc.
  • Candidates MUST BE technology savvy, yet able to explain complex issues in simple terms to executives.
  • PowerBI solutions
  • Power Platform/Apps
  • .NET applications
  • This role will be focused on the separation of Enterprise Applications - candidates should have high level understanding of at least one or multiple domains listed below:
  • Geospatial Solutions
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • SharePoint
  • Performance Analytics
