Position Summary


Reporting to the IT Integration Management Office, the IT Program Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Integration Management Office (IMO) to successfully deliver projects required to integrate two organizations together.


The successful candidate should be a junior to intermediate Project Manager who can effectively manage multiple requests from Program Managers. They will have excellent organizational skills and communication. This role requires IT, business and project management acumen, a pragmatic problem-solving approach and an understanding of how important Change Management is to the successful adoption of a solution by end users.


This is a supporting role and requires the ability to pull together multiple project budgets and status reports from Project Managers and work with the Integration Program Managers to present a single Program level status report.


While the focus of the role is primarily for work in North America, the role will also need to collaborate with other regions for relevant projects and to ensure alignment.


With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of Enerflex’s Calgary Southeast facility.


Principle Responsibilities And Duties


Overall responsibility is to deliver on integration objectives by supporting the project management team:


  • Support pulling together regular program status updates
  • Support information gathering or formatting for program status reports
  • Assist in managing communications with IT vendors
  • Follow Enerflex IT PMO governance processes by adhering to structured stages of initiation, planning, execution, closure and presenting at IT PMO meetings including Stage Gate
  • Assist with writing IT communications for the organization
  • Support development of steering committee meeting materials
  • Collect and file project status reports; follow up on missing, incomplete or delayed reports
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with relevant IT team members.
  • Consolidate project level financials into program view
  • Pull project level financial reports and provide them to project managers
  • Plan, schedule and continually manage expectations from multiple integration team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to collate monthly project savings (synergies)
  • Support project managers in identifying variances to their budgets
  • Ensure changes made to the Enerflex’s Business Systems are consistent with Enerflex’s standards and best practices
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings on behalf of the IT IMO and IT Integration Manager


Qualifications


  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in supporting large IT projects using PMI based Project Management methodology, with projects in both custom developed and off the shelf solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communicator, through presentations and written communications.
  • Experience using SAP Project Systems transactions would be advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight timelines.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and to travel to US.
  • Experience using MS Power BI is an asset.
  • Post-secondary degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strong business and Information Technology acumen.
  • Willing to occasionally work off hours to accommodate team members in other time zones.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
