It Communication Specialist Jobs

My client is a reputable insurance company in Canada who is actively expanding the team. They are currently looking for an IT Communication Specialist to join the team. This person will be responsible for providing any updates on IT department within the organization, by developing clear and engaging content, including newsletters, emails, presentations, videos, and other forms of communication materials.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with IT department to gain full understanding of communication requests

• Identify target audiences, communication channels, and key messages for each project or update

• Improve the quality, consistency, efficiency and effectiveness of all internal communication channels

• Assist in maintaining consistent writing style and company voice through all content channels, including emails, newsletters, presentations and reports

• Support internal IT communication needs, including announcements, policy changes, and IT-related training materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or related field

• 3 years of IT communications experience, preferably with a focus on internal/corporate communications

• Good understanding of IT terminology, processes, and best practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
