Integration Lead | Hybrid Remote | Long-Term Contract Opportunity*

*Candidates should be willing to work at the client location in Toronto upto twice a week since it is a job requirement*
Hiring an Integration Lead for a premium client of ours.
Functional Accountabilities
• Provide leadership across the integration architecture in accordance with existing AC architecture governance; provide leadership related to integration deliverables
• Lead the technical component review and approval of integration approaches, architectures, designs for system interfaces to ensure all necessary sources and targets are incorporated into the system
• Establish ERP interface requirements working closely with functional experts; this includes all Interfaces (RICE objects) needed to enable the ERP data flows across the Air Canada finance, tax and revenue accounting ecosystem
• Oversee the development and testing of interfaces in conjunction with the Systems Integrator
• Analyze current on-premise ERP integration points (As-Is solution) and overlay against the Cloud ERP capabilities to develop technical integration needs/requirements and determine opportunities for improvement and simplification of the overall solution
• Work closely with the System integrator (SI) in the architecture and design of solution components; review vendor created interface architecture and design specifications to ensure fit for purpose for Air Canada
• Provide guidance on integration task planning and effort estimations
• Identify technical risks and ensure PMO is kept informed of potential issues
• Ensure that all integration/interface related PMO deliverables are created including architecture and design deliverables, as built documentation and all transition to operations requirements are met
• Work closely with the AC enterprise architecture team to ensure conformance to Air Canada standards and technology strategy, explaining and justifying integration related design and architectural decisions as part of the Architecture Review Board
• Serve as escalation point for critical/complex integration related issues
• Minimize the impact of integration on various existing systems/processes
• Collaborate across Air Canada and Systems Integrator architecture resources to define, architect and design integration components to meet non-functional requirements; this includes ensuring a fault tolerant, highly available infrastructure along with disaster recovery
• Engage Technical SMEs to gather and translate business transaction volumes into integration/interface sizing specifications and ensure that user experience needs (performance) are met
• Maintains and stays abreast of interface development progress; provides assistance as required to clarify designs and keep architecture and design up-to-date
• Support all technology aspects to ensure operational requirements are met and that all systems development lifecycle technical needs are met (such as operations, deployments, cutovers, testing and support)
• Provide input into quality assurance testing; translate non-functional requirements and use cases into test plans and test scenarios with the Test Lead
• Providing technical assistance to the solution teams as required
• Ensure solution components are transitioned to support and operations teams
• Collaborate closely with other AC technical teams including Cyber, Data Analytics, Infrastructure and Networking, and Enterprise Architecture
REQUIRED SKILLS
• A relevant University degree/technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role
• Certification in a market leading S/4 HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform and related technologies
• Experience with ftp and file transfer packages, scheduling and orchestration and cloud integration platforms such as MuleSoft would be considered an asset
• At least 10 years of integration lifecycle development in an enterprise environment
• At least 5 years experience as an ERP specialist in a related industry
• At least 5 years experience with ERP integration and interface processes in a related industry
• Expert knowledge of Cloud ERP configuration tools and processes
• Functional knowledge of “out of the box” business processes and capabilities is considered an asset
• Experience in airline related systems and technologies is considered an asset
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in rapidly changing environments or uncertain conditions
• Demonstrates openness and willingness to adapt to different and new ways of doing things
• Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team, and to establish and maintain effective business relationships; willing to engage in difficult conversations around customizations and adherence to “out of the box” functionality
• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with all levels of the organization
• Great organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
