Instrumentation Specialist- Analytics Jobs

The Opportunity
Tundra Process Solutions currently has an opportunity for an Analytical Specialist based out of our Grande Prairie branch. Are you experienced in the start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting of new and existing analytical systems? The Role
As the Analytical Specialist, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner via phone and/or email
• Preparing and maintaining records and reports as required
• Servicing and repairs of equipment both in the field and in-house
• Supporting sales initiatives by providing technical expertise, creating evaluation reports and liaising potential sales opportunities
• Interpreting engineering designs, drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications for analytical systems
• Providing client training when required
• Starting-up, commissioning and troubleshooting client’s analytical equipment

The Candidate

• Must have a valid passport
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage time and priorities is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
• Travel as required
• Experience working in a service technician role focusing on measurement and analytics (i.e., chromatography, spectroscopy, and similar)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via phone and email in English is a must
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• A technical diploma in instrumentation (or related field) from a recognized post-secondary institution, or a recognized trade(s) certificate (i.e., instrumentation technician recognized in Alberta or B.C.)
• Alberta Class 5 Operators License or equivalent in good standing
