Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available: An exciting opportunity to join the Innovation Team within SSEN Transmission with the key purpose being to develop and accelerate innovative ideas, both technical and non-technical, from initially identified opportunities to Business as Usual, working in partnership with key stakeholders and teams. The duties and responsibilities of the Innovation Project Manager are:

• Identify and gain approval for funding from the most suitable source, ensuring that projects are ranked appropriately alongside existing innovation pipeline.
• Apply and adhere to the Safety Management Systems, best practices and the SSE capital delivery process for all projects.
• To ensure that the initial business case for Innovative projects is suitably developed in conjunction with the Innovation Analyst and developed both technical and non-technical, from initially identified opportunities through to Business as Usual.
• Lead the project teams in alignment with the SSE Safety Culture and core leadership values.
• Desirable engineering knowledge to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Excellent project management skills; be able to effectively plan own and others' time.
• Ability to identify and develop innovations that can help SSEN Transmission meet its RIIO-T2 goals, including significant savings through innovation
• Able to manage complex stakeholder relationships both internal and external with minimal supervision.
