At PSG, we rely on our IT systems to power the solutions that help our employees and consumers in North America. We’re seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst who can join us on this journey, using his or her technological skills to make us more efficient.
Reporting and working closely with the Director of Information Technology, the IT Security Analyst is responsible to manage daily operations, ensure data security and analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades. Our ideal candidate would have an extensive knowledge of network maintenance, cybersecurity, experience supervising staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Identifying vulnerabilities in the current network.
- Educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security. Ensure network components meet needs and work.
- Documenting any security breaches and assessing their damage.
- Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security.
- Conducting penetration testing in order to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure the computing network.
- Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Experience or certification in IT Security and User awareness training
COMPETENCIES
- Strong leadership abilities and collaboration with business managers, IT engineers, and IT operations staff are required.
- Bilingual, excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills both in English and French
- The ability to interact with IT personnel, establish strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations.
- A thorough understanding of the commercial implications of security tools, technologies, and policies.
- Project management skills include financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management.
- Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines, and work well in a demanding, dynamic environment while meeting overall objectives.
