We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Industrial Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks in industrial settings. Your primary objective will be to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the facility, ensuring a healthy and conducive working environment. This position plays a vital role in upholding our commitment to excellence in cleaning services.

Responsibilities:

• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and solvents, following proper dilution ratios, storage protocols, and safety guidelines
• Clean and maintain industrial equipment, tools, and machinery, following proper cleaning procedures and guidelines provided by the manufacturer or supervisor
• Collect and dispose of waste and recyclable materials in designated areas, adhering to established procedures and environmental guidelines
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Maintain clean and safe floors by removing debris, spills, and stains promptly. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure optimal floor condition and prevent slip hazards
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene by disinfecting and sanitizing areas, including restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques
• Collaborate with fellow cleaners and other staff members to ensure coordinated and efficient cleaning operations. Communicate any concerns or suggestions for improving cleaning processes or safety protocols
• Perform regular inspections to assess the cleanliness and hygiene standards, reporting any deficiencies or issues to the supervisor for timely resolution
• Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks as assigned, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and washing surfaces, equipment, and machinery
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and any incidents or observations related to facility cleanliness

Qualifications

• Strong time management and organizational skills to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products commonly used in industrial or commercial settings
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Proven experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is an asset
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and clients professionally
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial environment
