Position Summary

The Overnight Kitchen Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining all Kitchen areas and equipment to Resort standards. The overnight kitchen cleaner will report directly to Stewarding leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the kitchen areas and equipment while adhering to Health & Safety requirements, safe work practices, and procedures
• Ensures correct placement of all kitchen equipment
• Completes all other duties as assigned
• Completes scheduled deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and kitchen areas
• Participates in all department meetings and training programs

Skills, Abilities & Attributes

• Pays precise attention to detail, order and cleanliness
• Ability to work overnight shifts as scheduled with flexibility to adjust based on business/kitchen demands
• Able to occasionally work outdoors in seasonal temperatures
• Able to use cleaning chemicals to maintain sanitation standards
• Able to move up and down stairs and ladders frequently
• Able to stand, lift, carry & move constantly 11 to 29 pounds, frequently 30 to 49 pounds, and occasionally 50 to 75 pounds

Education & Experience

• 1-2 years Kitchen cleaning experience an asset
• Valid “G” class Ontario driver’s license preferred
