Description

Reporting to the foreman, the job of the Industrial Cleaner is to keep the site clean and organized. Shift will be 8 hours in per day Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Industrial Cleaner include, but are not limited to:

• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
• Clean surfaces in lunchrooms, offices, restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling.
• Other duties as needed.
• Sweep, vacuum and mopping of flooring.
• Respond to cleanup requests as necessary.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrate a high attention to detail.
• Previous custodian, janitorial or housekeeping experience is required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
• Capable of working independently, as well as, in a team environment.
• Successful candidates are required to have personal reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Valid Class 5 (non GDL) Drivers License
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support.
• Candidates must successfully complete orientation.
