Job Summary: As a Housekeeping Attendant at Canada, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to a positive and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Waste Management:
• Clean and maintain public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities.
• Operate laundry equipment and follow proper procedures for washing, drying, and folding.
• Assist with training new housekeeping staff as needed.
• Collect, sort, and launder linens, towels, and other hotel textiles.
• Guest Requests and Communication:
• Team Collaboration:
• Restock room supplies and ensure adequate inventory levels.
• Laundry Duties:
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Public Areas Maintenance:
• Dispose of waste in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Room Cleaning and Preparation:
• Report any maintenance or repair needs in guest rooms or public areas.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient room turnover and overall cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, ensuring all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures are spotless.
• Empty trash and recycling containers in guest rooms and public areas.
• Attention to Detail:
• Ensure all amenities are properly arranged and in working order.
• Follow established hygiene protocols to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or services.
• Safety and Hygiene:
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as needed to maintain a tidy appearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/carry heavy loads as required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
