Location: Calgary
Contract: Initially 12 months with a view to extend.
The main function of the Health & Safety Administrator is to provide technical and functional office-based support to the Well Delivery and Major Projects Deployed H&S Team, "the team". The team operates across Western Canada in multiple assets and is comprised of a diverse and experienced group of results driven Safety Professionals. The position will be reporting to the Senior Manager Health and Safety, Well Delivery and Major Projects. This role will require you to interact with a broad range of employees and contractors both at a worker level as well as at the supervisory and management levels.
Key Accountabilities:

• Compile and analyze scheduled reports of H&S analytics utilizing leading and lagging indicator data
• Regularly work in SharePoint and PowerPoint
• Conduct detailed research related to incident causes and trends
• Provide logistical support to field teams
• Maintain systems and data bases utilized to support the H&S team
• Support field team with incident and investigation data management
• Monitor the supplier verification system (ISN) for compliance

• Shift schedule: 8 hours per day

Skills & Qualifications:

• Other databases and analytical programs such as PowerBI, incident management software would be considered an asset
• Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Experience in Oil & Gas sector
• Effective Communication in all forms (verbal, written, listening) are essential
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Post-secondary education in health & safety, business administration, or similar
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
• Self-starter who is interested in looking for process improvements
