About the role:

Inside the Magic is looking for an innovative, detail-oriented, passionate, and knowledgeable Head of Research to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing fact-checking on Inside the Magic, Disney Dining, and the rest of our sister sites.

We are looking to hire a full-time contractor for this role. The pay range begins at $20/hour.

We are looking for someone in the U.S. or Europe time zones.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and theme park culture.
• Strong research skills and ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
• Good with systems and processes
• Ability to write in a clear, engaging, and informative tone.
• Experience fact-checking for other publications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Very organized

Responsibilities:

• Add to content in a way that aligns with ITM's voice, tone, and brand.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure timely delivery.
• Grow our new fact-checking arm from the ground up.
• Fact-check articles at a high frequency.
• Work closely with the Directors of Content to establish and implement new fact-checking protocols.
