Gillfor Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Garage Door Department to join our branch in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. As part of our team at our Dartmouth Distribution Centre, you will work in a team environment and be responsible for efficiently and accurately assembling customer orders, serving customers in the yard, maintaining the presentation and organization of warehouse materials and loading customer trucks. This is a full-time position at our Dartmouth location.

Expectations

• Build crates and wrapping orders for secure shipment
• Serve and assist pick up customers in our garage door department
• Additional tasks such as loading lumber and other building materials as needed
• Receive and process incoming door department materials
• Performing inventory counts as needed
• Pick and prepare garage door parts and orders in a detailed manner
• All work must be done in compliance with safety rules and regulations

Ideal Attributes

• Previous Garage Door industry experience is an asset
• Forklift Training and Experience Required
• Flexibility with start and finish times
• Self-motivated and able to work with little to no supervision
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds if necessary
• Able to work in outdoor conditions
• Knowledge of the general building materials industry is an asset
• Reliable and punctual
