Nxgen Networks Inc. is looking for talented developers to contribute keep making the Yeti Snow Management System grow successfully. Yeti is a SAAS B2B platform for running a snow & ice removal business. The current version has customers in Canada, the USA, and Europe.

As a Fullstack (Laravel and Angular) Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel and Angular frameworks. You will work closely with the development team to design and implement new features, as well as troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise.

As part of this project, we are looking for contributions with:

● Improving and maintaining Yeti softwares;

● Create readable and stable code;

● Discuss and design database architecture;

● Collaborating with other engineers across the entire stack;

● Deliver everything from tiny optimizations to broad structural changes spanning multiple codebases;

● Research and integrate new technologies to drive our development process forward;

● Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise;

● Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices;

● Contribute to project documentation.

Soft Skills:

● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;

● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills;

● Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills;

● Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks;

● Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications:

● 2+ years working with Angular and TypeScript;

● 3+ years working with PHP Laravel;

● Good understanding of relational databases, preferably MySQL;

● Proficient with HTML5 and SCSS;

● Experience with Linux;

● Experience in developing and using APIs, in special with RESTful design pattern;

● Experience working collaboratively using Git (Bitbucket or GitHub);

● Strong understanding of UI and UX best practices;

● Familiar with AWS Amazon products;

● Experience in the following would be a plus: Socket.io, Ionic, Docker, Notifications, Redis, NodeJS, and Unit Tests. The Ionic experience would be a big plus.

-Compensation will be based on experience

-MUST BE in North American Time Zone in order to have ability to collaborate with the team.
