We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Salesforce Service team. The team’s focus is to provide extraordinary customer support experiences for both internal and external customers.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with product owners, software engineers, and operations engineers to deliver new business value through software
  • Influence and lead discussions with Product Owners and Analysts advance our platforms and deliver value sooner
  • Work with lead Engineers to collaborate with our Architecture team realizing the strategic vision of Manulife’s technology stack
  • Deliver an exceptional user experience to our customers, through the delivery of products and services with strong and extendable architectural design
  • Maintain and support our products and services, with accountability for production reliability and usage, and the delivery of new functionality
  • Extend our Salesforce products to our Business Partners using various technologies and integration patterns.

What We Are Looking For


  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to handle through creative abrasion
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to optimally articulate and communicate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes across all levels in the organization
  • Experience with languages such as Apex, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS and/or similar technologies would be an asset
  • Salesforce Service Cloud and Lightning Experience with focus on development across all aspects of the platform
  • A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement
  • Azure(AKS, Functions, Data Factory) and other components supporting a highly-automated global engineering platform

Salary & Benefits


The annual base salary for this role is listed below.


Primary Location


CAN, Ontario, Toronto, 200 Bloor Street East


Salary range is expected to be between


$89,950.00 CAD - $167,050.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
